Full course description
In this course, students will apply theoretical concepts and principles of practice from the OR assistant program. This course will include an online and lab component in which students will examine the various roles in the OR; Safely transfer and position patients for common OR procedures; Apply aseptic practices and techniques to maintain a sterile field; and exemplify appropriate techniques and standards to prepare for surgical procedures.
