Full course description
In this course, students will examine a wide variety of general surgical and other common invasive procedures. Within the learnings, students will compare the purpose of each intended surgical procedure, identifying both the benefits and potential complications of common procedures including appendectomy, bowel resection, and hernia repair. By the end of the course, students will be able to successfully describe basic pre-operative and post-operative care for surgical patients.
